Sneha Hasthaalu Activities, Expenses & Contributions Update From May 21st to August 18th

Hello Kind hearted Friends,

Good Day. Once again our Sneha Hasthaalu  proved the value of team work in reaching the needy. Please have a look at the  various activities initiated by our SnehaHasthaalu , in addition to our ongoing School Adoption & Supporting Graduate Students, between May 21st 2015 to August 18th 2015. Also Please have a look at the contributions we have received and the needful required Support in completing the pending/ongoing tasks.

Activities Summary:

1. Distributed  Students Material ( Note Books,Copy Books,Stationary,Tie,Belts,..etc) for all 6500 students @ our 92 Adopted Schools:  600000/-

                                               Adopted Schools list:   Guntur Dt: 72 , Vishakapatnam : 6 , Krishna Dt : 14

            

    

2. Tree Plantation is Going on at all our adopted schools and in some villages . Till now 900 tree saplings & guards were provided &&1600 more on the way : 250000/-

3. In a record time of 1 month our SnehaHasthaalu in association with First Step Foundation & Chaithanya NGO, Successfully managed to built a New school in Vizag Tribal agency and opened for the students. @ Chekkarayi banda , Lambasinig, Vishakapatnam Dt : 100000/- First(1st time this village got a school facility in 69 years of our Independence).

4. With support from First Step Foundation Successfully completed Water project and opened to villaged on Independence day@ Gogula Banda ,Lambasingi , Vishakapatanam Dt. : 90000/-

5. Establishing Computer Labs at two High Schools and giving training to 1500 students (6th – 10th classes) at these two high schools. :50000/-

6. To build Confidence & Motivate under privileged hIGH School Girl Students (who are orphans/ semi orphans and don't have access to bus), Distributed 27 cycles at 5 High Schools  :  94500/-

7. Successfully Constructed the Compound wall to one of our adopted school i.e. @ Cherukumpalem S.T.Colony Primary school :150000/-

8. Along With Telugu People Foundation(TPF) provided Support to 3 graduate students in continuing their higher studies: 80000/-

9. Appointed Evening Tutors at  4 of our adopted Schools( 1500/- Per Tutor per Month)   : 6000/-

10. Salaries for Teachers, Mentors and Village Library (For 3 Months)  : 30000/-

12. Cost towards arranging 40 Computers (received from INFOSYS foundation) at our adopted schools (UPS power supplies & Installations charges) :65000/-

13. Arranged Toilet facility at one of our adopted school : 15000/-

14. Procured Spot Gift Material (Tooth paste,brush..sets..etc)  : 3000/-

3.  For supporting towards evening Tuitions at our adopted schools : 10000/- Per Month. 

4.  For Establishing Computer Labs and teaching computer basics at two High Schools ( Total Beneficiaries : 1500 students) : 7000 per month  

5. For Arranging Toilet facility (Rebuilding existing one)  for  Junior College (350 students,in that 110 Girls students) : 75000/-

6.  For procuring Spot Gifts (Like Tooth pastes,brush,small books..etc) : 15000/-.

About Family Back Ground:

    Father , Yesu Babu working as NGO Worker (Coordinator) . And Mother is house wife. Grand Mother also staying with them and part of income going for Grand Mother Medical expenses . 

Supporting education of his two sons & running family became very difficult with his monthly  small income. With lot of difficult they paid Kiran(Candidate) . They are facing difficulty for supporting their Son’s Monthly Expenses, Yearly Fee (Balance fee 27200/-),Books ..etc.

      After personal verification and discussion with parents & student , We felt it is very genuine case . They facing very difficulty for supporting and continuing their son's education (Who is doing B.Tech 2nd year in Bapatla Engineering College).
