Government Schools Adoption Program



Adopted 11 Government Schools with 1405 students on behalf of our SNEHA HASTHAALU (Friends Group). Expected Expenses cost @ 400 per student per year


Activities we planned at our 11 Adopted Schools:

1.    Appointed Qualified Mentor to visit all schools regularly ( to ensure our below activities going at par our expectation for good results ). 

2.    Keep student appearance good (In addition to government provided uniform, we are providing tie+belt+badge)
Arranging 2 pairs of  uniform for 150 students @ One school (where govt. not providing)

3.    Arranging required materials to improve reading , writing skills (Note books , working sheets, copy books, drawing sheets ..stationary)

4.     Reading Room facility/Library @ each school (In addition to available books, providing new books. And using existing schools space/room to arrange all books properly)

5.    Advanced teaching methodology (Arranging computer to each school . And arranging CDs/DVDs/you tube vedios to play for students)

6.    Preparing Students for Competition Exams (Navodaya, korukonda sainik school, APRJC…etc). Arranging material & Tutor for these trainings

7.    Encourage Sports (Arranging sports materials. Sports Material for Physical exercise eg: valley ball, Mental exercise eg: Chess board..) . And Sport competitions among our 11 schools.
                                                                                                                                                                              
8.    Spot Gifts to Students ( Ensure Gifts availability to Teachers, Mentor for giving to students on their performance on different areas on every day)

9.    Tree Plantation @ all our adopted schools with Forest department help

10. Arranging Tutors for 2 hours after school @ 3 Schools. ( Arranging tutors for taking tuitions will helpful to bring up slow learners . 1000/- per tutor per month)

11.  Arranging Para teachers @ 3 Schools . (Where students more , teachers less. 1500/- per tutor per month).

12. Assessment of students (4th & 7th class ) at beginning & ending of the year in addition to routine exams @ schools.

13. Scholar ships to Merit , poor students (Who completed 5th , & 7th . 1200/- per year per selected student). To avoid drop outs of poor  merit students @ school stage itself.

14.  Arranging Guest speech(es) to teachers & Parents  (to motivate teachers & parents )


15.  Other activities to consider:

1)    Programs for improving teaching Standards

2)    Monitoring Delivery of services (Mid Day meal, Drinking Water , Health checkup facility).


  Material Order Status & Expenses  :

1.    Copy Note books for all 5 Grades Received (3150 books): 18900/-

2.    Stationary (2000 pencils , erasers , sharpeners, pens, color pencils , Geometry boxes ..etc) Received: 17700/-   

3.    Note books (check /double/double/four rule note books…etc) will received (Paid 40000/-)

4.    Cloth arranged for dress stitching  for 150 students . (Paid 24700/- for cloth).
   Will receive uniform by 25th July.

5.    Distributed Tie+Belt+Badge for All Students @ 11 Adopted Schools:38000/-

6.     150 Saplings  planted @  at all 11 adopted schools as part of Tree Plantation Program.

7.    Distributed  750 Diary books to the students from 4th class on-wards on August 15th.

8.     Distributed 400 Mid Day Lunch plates @ our Schools: 17000/-

9.     Computers + speaker setups order Pending (Cost: 45000/-). Working with donors .

10.  Spot Gifts (Listing out) : Expected cost 30000/-

11.  Sports Material Arranged for All 11 Schools : 20000/-

12.  Drawing sheets (Working with publishers) : Expected Cost 20000/-

13.  Teaching Aid montessori Material (Collecting Inputs from teachers) : Expected Cost 25000/-


Activities executed as part of program:

  1. Completed 1st collaboration  meeting with 11 school head masters on 23rd June.
  2.  Gave merit scholar ships to 14 students from 11 Schools in presence of 11 school head masters & parents on 23rd June (Cost: 14*1200=16800).
  3. Material (Note books, copy books and other stationary ) sent to all schools and distribution started at each school from 17th July .

*** We arranged one Qualified Mentor to look after all these 11 schools on behalf of our ‘SNEHA HASTHAALU’ Team. And this mentor also train teachers on Computers to play DVDs, entering student details..etc. So, we will ensure 100% guarantee of using our hard earned  money for Rural Poor Students and make them competitive to our current generation.
