With all your support & encouragement our “SnehaHasthaalu” (www.snehahasthaalu.org ), which was started with a motto to empower the rural India through education & technology , is trying hard in meeting the needs of Young India( School & college Students) .
This year we took 2 major initiations along with Rural School Adoption.
- One is to build the sense of “Social responsibility & environmental awareness” among those young minds through Tree Plantation.
- And the other one is to provide them an opportunity to learn Rhymes/comics/story telling through computers.
After presenting our continuous efforts towards the rural school adoption and summer computer training programs,INFOSYS has accpeted our request and donated 60 desktop computers (Including 17" LCD monitors) to our adopted schools. Please find the picture of Computers donated by INFOSYS below.
This summer we successfully organized the 45 days free computer training program for school teachers from our 48 Govt adopted primary Schools & local Intermediate(+1,+2) students in Achampeta area of Guntur dist and the results were very positive.
In one hand we got the computers and in the other we have the trained teachers one from each school and now all we need to do is ,setup these systems in our adopted schools . We all are aware of the power fluctuations in Rural areas, and the need of UPS is a mandatory for every computer. We are looking for your support in procuring these 60 UPS units . Each UPS unit may cost 2000/-Rs and we may get a better deal if we go for all at a time . Please lend your @helping hand in providing Quality education to our Rural India.
