Dear All Friends,

Greetings from SnehaHasthaalu Foundation.

SnehaHasthaalu requesting you to lend your helping hand in arranging the Benches for 300 Junior College students(+2 level or Intermediate).

Atchampeta is one of the remote village & Mandal Headquarter in Guntur dist. with poor educational & Infrastructure facilities and where our snehahasthaalu is trying it’s best from the past 9 years.

It got one Gov. Junior college for 20 nearby villages with 300 strength and badly need external support from kind hearts like you. Performance wise faculty and Students are trying their best and we are seeing good results even without basic facilities like Toilets and benches.

Last year our SnehaHasthaalu renovated the toilet facility and this year would like to arrange benches to these 300 growing Young minds. Intermediate is the turning point for any student, as most of them are in 16-18 years age group which is also the crucial period in one’s life, both physical and mental health wise. Our young sisters & brothers are going through lot of stress as they need to sit on the floor for their class work and which is not good for health. We need a minimum of 80 benches for 300 students and each bench costs 3000/- and we need total support 240,000/- Rs.

Here I am attaching few news clippings about the performance of the college students in recent intermediate results and also their present situation. I request you to lend your helping hand in arranging these benches under adopt a project program and bring a fresh breath into those young minds and relieve them from those stressful days.

Our Sneha Hasthaalu proving the value of team work in reaching the needy. Please have a look at summary of activities initiated by our SnehaHasthaalu in the last Half Year , in addition to our ongoing School Adoption program.

Activities Summary (From September 1st 2016 - March 27th 2017):

1. Contributed for 18 Digital classes through AP Government Matching Grant Program ( 1.5 Lakhs per Digital class, 30% donor contribution) : Total Cost 8.1 Lakhs

2. Established Digital Classes at 2 adopted schools with support from Friends & Village people: SnehaHasthaalu Contribution : 75,000/-

3. Arranged two desktop computers for MPP School (@RamakrishnaPuram,Sarvakota Mandalam,Srikakulam) : Total Cost 37,000/-

4. Organized career guidance session for 400+ 10th class students and arranged career guidance booklets and exam stationary( pads, scales): Total Cost 25,000/-

5.Arranged 55 benches for 220 girl students @ Kasturbha Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya,Atachampeta( Govt Residential School for Girls from Socio-economically poor background) : Total Cost 1,50,000/-

6.Celebrated Rithvik s/o Suresh Dama birthday at one of our adopted schools && arranged slider for government school with 110 students: 15,000/-

7. Renovated the basic amenities of Kasturbhaa Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Atchampeta,Guntur Dist: Total Cost 85,000/-

8. Extended finance support to 10 graduate Students for 2016-17 academic year: Total support : 1,20,000/-

9. Built compound walls @ 2 of our adopted Govt schools with support from friends and village people (Total Cost of 2 walls: 6 Lakhs): Snehasthaalu Contribution: 2.25 Lakhs

10. Arranged 25 dresses for Kasturiba School Girl Students. Total cost: 6,000/-

11. Planted and protecting 2000 plants along 5 KM R&B road leading to Pulichinthala project (Watering with 15 tanks of water per week) . Till date expenditure: 2,00,000/-

12. Arranged Tutions at 7 adopted schools and paying monthly salaries from last 6 months: Total cost 11,000 per Month.(66,000 in total)
