Sneha Hasthaalu Tree Plantation program for 2015 Year

In the interest our future generation and to protect our deteriorating environment the Snehahasttalu has undertook tree plantation activity for the past 3 years. So far 4000 trees have been planted within the premises of schools and in villages. These trees have also been guarded by tree guards. The unique feature in this program is each tree in school is adopted by the children studying in the school who waters every day and nurtures and will be awarded with a prize. "

After seeing our last couple of years plantation , more school Teachers,Students and Villagers coming forward to take care plants if we provide Saplings & Tree Guards.

Like last year , this year also our Sneha Hasthaalu team planning to plant 5000 Saplings along with minimum 2500 Tree Guards in our Adopted schools compounds (75 Schools) & Villages with our students & Teachers support.

We started procuring Tree Guards .This year we are providing support rods also to our tree guards.

**** Looking forward for all your continuous support and suggestions for making this tree plantation event grand success like every year. Estimated cost for planting Sapling along with Tree Garud is 350/- , Lets try our level best for getting support and procuring Tree Guards ASAP.

Activities Summary:

1. Adopted 5 Schools with total 150 students from Tribal area, Lammasingi Panchayithi,Vishakapatnam with 'Fist Step Foundation' Support.

Village Names of the Schools : 1. Asarada, 2. Bheemanapalli, 3. Rajupakala, 4. Ravimanu Pakala , 5.Chakkaraayi Banda

2. Adopted 3 schools from PenuganchiProlu Mandalam, Krishna District, with friends support ( Mural Vadlamudi & Maruthi Yarapathineni) . These schools will be monitor by their local youth & families only.

3 . Salaries paid for Tutors and volunteer teachers : 20000/-

4. Procured Stationary Material for 2015-16 Academic Year. Total Cost: 86500/-

5. Supported Anniversary celebrations at 3 schools : 15000/-

6. Balance payment for Tie,Belt,Badge Sets ( 7000 sets for 2015-16 Academic Year) : 85000/-

7. Balance payment for Note books (Received 30000 Note books for 2015-16 Academic year) : 50000/-

8. Salaries for Teachers, Mentors,Village Library (For 2 Months) : 30000/-

Like every year, this year also we are going to provide all the needful material for all our adopted schools with 7000 students .We already procured almost all material ( Like Note books,copy books,stationary,Tie,Belt Sets ..etc for 7000 Students .) . Still we need support for procuring below material :

1 . Files for Students : 30000/- ( 5000 Files, each costs 6/-)

2. Slates : 10000/- ( 500 slates , each cost 20/-)

3. School Bags : 35000/- ( 400 Bags, each costs 90/-)

4. Balance amount towards UPS procurement for computers donated by INFOSYS : 65000/- ( Total 125000/- for 70 UPS, 60000/- received till now).
